GENERAL SHIPPING: Our shipping charges are based on standard UPS including package weight, size, and distance shipped. To preview the shipping charges, enter the items you want to order into your shopping cart. When you're done, click on "shopping cart." Then enter your zip code at the bottom of the page. This will display all available shipping costs. MEC offers UPS Ground, 3rd Day Select, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air shipping to all of our customers who place orders to be shipped in the United States.
POBOX / APO BOX SHIPPING: MEC cannot ship to PO Boxes, or APO Boxes. Please make sure that the shipping address is not a PO Box or APO Box address.
DELIVERY TIME AND RUSH ORDERS: For customers that just can't wait for lighting products, don't fear! Most orders are processed and shipped within 7-10 business days of placing an order. Since UPS does not ship on either Saturdays or Sundays (even for express shipping) the actual delivery date may differ from the Estimated Scheduled Delivery Date as found on the UPS Quantum View email. For example: A Next Day Air order, leaving our warehouse on a Friday for San Diego, will not arrive until Monday, even though it has a one day transit time GROUND SHIPPING:
UPS handles all ground shipping for MEC. When the order has been processed and shipped, you will receive an email notification with tracking information for your package. On delivery you will also see an email notification.

EXPRESS SHIPPING METHODS (UPS Next Day, UPS 2nd Day, and UPS 3 Day Select):Express orders are shipped within 24 hours of warehouse assembling, excluding weekends, in some circumstances it may not ship for up to 48 hours. Please contact an MEC customer representative if you need the order delivered by a certain day at (866) 421-6679
UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGE: We strongly suggest that you check both your billing address and shipping address to ensure accuracy. From time to time, customers may incorrectly fill these fields and submit orders. MEC will only ship the products to the address that is supplied. In the case that an incorrect address is supplied, UPS will try their best to contact the customer to confirm a correct address. If all attempts fail, UPS will send this product back to MEC. If an order is unable to be delivered by UPS due to an incorrect address as provided by the purchaser, and the package is returned to MEC, there are two options available to the customer:
1) THE CUSTOMER STILL WANTS THE ORDER SHIPPED: The customer is responsible to pay a $30.00 UPS Return-to-sender fee, as well any secondary shipping charges to have the product reshipped to a corrected address.
2) THE CUSTOMER WISHES TO CANCEL THE ORDER: In this scenario, the amount refunded will be for the total purchase price less initial shipping & processing costs, a $30.00 UPS Return-to-sender fee, as well as a 15% restocking fee.
UPS will make 3 attempts on business days to make a delivery. If an order is unable to be delivered by UPS due to the customer not being available for acceptance, and the package is returned to MEC, there are two options available to the customer:
1) THE CUSTOMER STILL WANTS THE ORDER SHIPPED: The customer is responsible to pay a $30.00 UPS Return-to-sender fee, as well any secondary shipping charges to have the product reshipped to a corrected address.
